Dr. Mohler offered a presidential forum for students and faculty to discuss the current status of the seminary. Included in the forum were some eye-opening statistics:
- Current enrollment is 4,156 students–making Southern the largest SBC seminary, and by some stats, the largest evangelical seminary in the world
- Current mDiv enrollment is over 1600 students (if my memory serves me correctly)–making Southern the seminary with the most mDiv students
- Over 1 out of every 4 students enrolled at an SBC seminary goes to school at Southern
Mohler also showed how great a value Southern is compared to other top evangelical seminaries:
- Southern Baptist Theological Seminary - $3,750.00
- Fuller Theological Seminary – $13,146.00
- Denver Seminary – $10,650.00
- Bethel Seminary – $9,210.00
- Reformed Theological Seminary – $10,907.00
- Trinity Evangelical Divinity School – $12,207.00
Mohler’s presentation was very informative and encouraging.
Thanks for the info. good mobilization I will keep these figures and other comments about Southern in conversations as seminary options come to mind. Love you brother

Fred, I am familiar with the article you posted, but since you didn’t indicate it, I am uncertain of your purpose in posting. Care to clarify?
by the way, that article is in reference to a different seminary.
